The Pious Hypocrite’s Blessing
Once upon a time a
Pious Hypocrite prayed, “Dear Lord, please bless my competitors and rivals by relieving
them of the cares of office, the ordeal of fame, and the burden of great
wealth.”
And lo! it came to pass
that just these blessings were bestowed upon the Pious Hypocrite himself.
Moral:
Bless as you would be blessed.
