Virtue Signalling, an Underfable

     Virtue Signalling

Once upon a time, a Moral Purist publicly berated a Pragmatist for insufficient condemnation of the wicked. He said, “How dare you not attack such bleep, you bleep! That kind of bleep deserves no mercy! It’s basic bleeping human decency!”
The above quote is edited for the sake of decency; for the Purist did not use the word “bleep”.
Upon hearing the unexpurgated version, all the demons of Hell laughed out loud, and all the angels of Heaven blushed a deep navy blue.

Moral: Virtue is not a signal.
