Failure of Mind Control

     Failure of Mind Control

Written at the start of the pandemic

When the Covid-19 virus showed up, the CCP attempted censorship, and the the Trumpists tried public relations. Censorship and PR are both mind control; so the CCP and the Trumpists both tried mind control on the virus.

But a virus has no mind. It doesn’t even have cells, or a metabolism. Mind control doesn’t work on viruses! That’s how the guys in charge messed up. Mind control does work on us, because we do have minds; and that’s how those guys got to be the ones in charge. And that’s how we messed up.

The virus has no mind, so it’s immune to all mind control; that includes hierarchy, territory, tribe, politics, and religion.

Consider hierarchy; the virus doesn’t care about how much money you have or haven’t. When Senator Romney realized that he had been standing near Rand Paul, he looked scared, then he ran off to get tested. He knew that his wealth and power could not protect him.

Now consider territory. According to the Johns Hopkins Covid-19 map on 3/28, the USA is speckled with cases in every single state. So it’s too late for any one state to wall off the others. The virus has a tenning time; one case now means 10 in 10 days, 1000 in a month, and 1000000 in two months. Covid-19 doesn’t know from state lines; by nature it’s everywhere, sooner or later. It puts the pan in pandemic because to it, anywhere is everywhere.

Now for tribalism. The coronavirus knows nothing whatsoever about skin tint or language or tribe or politics or religion. To SARS-CoV-19, we all taste yummy.  Nor does it care what is said at a political rally or a sermon; all that matters to it is if the rally or the sermon happens at all.

We can be mind-controlled, but SARS-CoV-19 can’t be. The virus is immune to mind control; therefore we must be too, to fight it on equal terms. For the duration of the pandemic, our minds must throw off control by hierarchy, territory, tribe, politics, and religion.
