The Land of Gold
Once upon a time a man, upon awakening, declared that he was in the Land of Gold. “For gold is everywhere!” he said. “This bedsheet is gold! Your stethoscope is gold! That tree outside the window is gold!”
But the doctor said, “No. The tree is green, this is a hospital, the yellow you see is only in your eyes, and you have jaundice.”
Moral: The fool sees not the same tree that the wise man sees.
