Prophesy Meets Vow
Once
upon a time, a Prophet intoned, “I foresee that you will become a Conservative
in your old age.”
His
Son retorted, “If so, then it shall be on my own terms.”
Decades
later, the Prophet’s Son recalled this exchange, and he saw that his father’s
cynical prophesy and his own defiant vow had both come true.
Thus
his father trained him.
Moral:
Teach your children well.
