          If you change an ism into an ium, or vice versa, then you get strange new words. Chemical elements turn into unknown ideologies:

Helism, Sodism, Potassism, Uranism, Plutonism, Polonism, Radism,Thorism.

You don't need a chemical element. For instance: Odism, Pandemonism, Podism, Premism, Trivism.

Conversely, ideologies turn into weird substances:

Marxium, Fascium, Capitalium, Communium, Utopianium, Anarchium, Leftium, Rightium, Hinduium, Judium, Jainium, Taoium.

So do medical conditions. Alcoholium, Astigmatium, Autium.

And other things. Truium, Tourium, Purium, Prium.

This is like the supersymmetry of matter particles and field particles. But what are the tenets of Odism? Belief in odium? That sounds like Trumpism. Conversely, what vile substance is Trumpium? Maybe trumpium is extra-disgraceful odium; so “trumpious” means “especially vile”.
