Fifteen Dollar Haircut, an Underfable

Fifteen Dollar Haircut

Once upon a time, I got a haircut for fifteen dollars. I gave the barber a twenty dollar bill; for change, she gave me a five dollar bill. The twenty dollar bill bore a picture of Andrew Jackson, and the five dollar bill bore a picture of Abraham Lincoln.
As these bills changed hands, Jackson said to Lincoln, “I was a Democrat, but nowadays I would be a Republican.”
And Lincoln said to Jackson, “I was a Republican, but nowadays I would be a Democrat.”

Moral: The wheel keeps turning.
