A Biblical Joke Unpacked
After Genesis 2:18-20
“Adam, you look sad. What’s the matter?”
“Oh Yahweh, I’m all alone.”
“That’s not good!”
“I need someone to help me.”
“Help you how?”
“Someone for me to... know.”
“Okay… how about this?”
“No, that’s a goat.”
“Alright then, how about this?”
“No, that’s a monkey.”
“How about this?”
“No, that’s a hippo.”
“How about this?”
“No, no, that’s a tiger!”
“How about this?”
“No, that's a chicken...”
And this went on all day.
(I suspect that there are other Biblical jokes whose humor has been forgotten.)
