        The Marx Paradox

 

Any oligarchy that dismisses Marx’s predictions is doomed to witness them; and any oligarchy that attends to Marx’s predictions can prevent them. This is a version of Santayana’s axiom, plus Seldon’s Paradox.

 So from the oligarchy’s point of view, Marx’s predictions are as true as they are false.
