Consider Officer Sicknick, the Capitol Hill policeman who was killed by Trumpists. It turns out that he was a Trumpist too; so Trumpists killed a Trumpist.
I am not surprised; Trumpism is all about self-harm. For instance, Trump called a hit on his veep. And what a lovely couple Trump and Pence make! Pence failed to break constitutional law for Trump; Trump sicced a lynch mob on him; yet now they’re together again! I am reminded of domestic abuse.
It's bad to be on the same planet as Trump; worse to be in the same country; worse still to be in his party; worse still to be in his inner party. He will turn on you. Worst of all is to be Trump himself.
