The Marxian Paradox
When the owning class takes Marx’s predictions of revolution seriously, then they take measures to prevent them;
But when they ignore those predictions, then the preconditions of revolution recur.
So from the owning class’s point of view, Marx’s predictions are as true as they are false!
The Marxian Paradox is a subcase of the Paradox of Prophesy; that prophesies, to those who could alter them, are as true as they are false.
