Too Big
Once upon a time a Titan said, “I am the world. There is
no alternative to me. I am too big to fail.”
But there was no place for a body so great to rest. Worn
out by lack of sleep, and mad from lack of dreams, the Titan died.
Then a Hero carved out Sun and Moon from the Titan’s eyes,
stars and planets from the Titan’s limbs, and Earth from the Titan’s torso. People
multiplied upon the Earth, and life went on.
Moral: Too big to fail is too big to exist.
