Peace Offering

       Peace Offering

Once upon a time, a small herd of Rainbow Unicorns galloped up to the altar of the God of the Trolls, and there they said, “We saw a certain dirty little Troll of yours having a bad day, and not keeping it secret. He grumbled and he stumbled, he stamped and he ranted, he fussed and worst of all he cussed. We think he is a Scary Meanie, and something must be done.”
Later that Troll approached the Rainbow Unicorns and said, “I am so sorry for sharing my bad day with you, who had nothing to do with it. Will you ever forgive me?”
          The Rainbow Unicorns asked, “Why?”
The Troll reached into his burlap sack, took out some bags and said, “Because these are bags of chocolate-covered almonds. Here’s one for you, and here’s one for you, and here’s one for you, and here’s one for you.”
Later the Rainbow Unicorns galloped up to the altar of the God of the Trolls, and there they said, “That dirty little Troll of yours is not a Scary Meanie after all; really he’s a Harmless Silly. When you get to know him, and it’s a good day for him, then he’s as sweet as sweet can be.”
They said this because chocolate-covered almonds are the very favorite items in a Rainbow Unicorn’s natural diet.

Moral: Every pony has its price.
